How to manage the risks of digital technologies and AI – new chapter

When using digital technologies and AI in the workplace, you must manage the associated work health and safety risks by assessing the potential risks, and putting in place control measures to eliminate or minimise those risks so far as is reasonably practicable.

In the Health & Safety Handbook's brand-new chapter, Digital technologies and AI, we explore how digital technologies and AI, particularly digital systems used for task allocation, may be used in the workplace, and the associated health and safety risks that come along with them.

Important: Digital technologies and AI is a rapidly changing area! Health and safety regulators Australia-wide will be eyeing how things evolve, and will no doubt introduce codes or regulations over the coming year to combat the health and safety implications of the technologies. New South Wales is already in the process of doing so (read about it here).

At the Health & Safety Handbook, we keep abreast of changes to the health and safety landscape, and update our chapters in real time, to ensure subscribers have the most current advice at their fingertips. So as changes occur to this area, we will have you covered.
