New psychosocial risk assessment tool is launched
Australia’s only validated psychosocial risk assessment tool, People at Work, launched in February. The tool consists of an online survey that assesses a number of the most common psychosocial hazards and factors. The survey is part of a process you can use to identify, assess and control risks to psychological health at work.
People at Work is free to use, and quick and easy to implement. Once at least 20 of your workers have completed your survey, you can generate two different types of reports:
- a comprehensive report, which includes a detailed interpretation of your results and group breakdowns; and
- an overview report, which includes a high-level overview of your results.
People at Work funding partners are Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe Victoria, Comcare, Safe Work Australia, SafeWork SA, NT WorkSafe, WorkSafe ACT, WorkSafe WA, WorkSafe Tasmania and the WorkCover Tasmania Board.
